LONDON, ENGLAND - This April's Service Desk & IT Support Show was held over a two-day period at the Earl's Court Arena in Kensington, London. The Web Help Desk team were there in force to bring their extremely popular service desk software to the masses. Joining the usual UK-based line up were Web Help Desk's Vice President of Sales & Marketing from the USA, Terry Siddall, enthusiastic Web Help Desk customer/guru Manuel Miseré from the Serviceplan Group - Germany's largest Network-free Agency, and of course the Web Help Desk and Absolute Manage superhero mascots!
During the two days Web Help Desk was received with great interest from many old and new visitors to the stand. Providing a scalable, cost-effective, cross-platform help desk solution to organisations that are more and more often leaving their existing costly and hard to maintain systems behind; Web Help Desk is proving to be the ideal solution.
"We really had an excellent response from stand visitors this year" explains John Ryan, MD of UniPress Software, "So many organisations have found themselves trapped in expensive maintenance agreements with other vendors, and are only now realising that there is a way out "Web Help Desk".
Alongside Web Help Desk, UniPress were also exhibiting the cross-platform client management solution - Absolute Manage. When used in conjunction with Web Help Desk, it really provides an excellent solution, especially when used in heterogeneous environments with Macs and PCs.
Manuel Miseré of the Serviceplan Group gave two talks during the show explaining how they manage their multi-site, multi-platform environment using both Web Help Desk and Absolute Manage.
